Wow, good for you, congrats! If you haven't been there in a few years you should expect a large increase in the cost of everything! Before my last trip (Nov/08) we were there in 2004. Since 2004 prices have increased in my opinion by at least 50% or more! Everything from taxis, food to entrance fees has greatly increased in cost.

By the way your EgyptVillage.com account has personal blog, videos and photo album features. We love it if you would share your experiences with our community. Either way enjoy yourself and safe travels!

Thank you for your kind comments, I really appreciate it. This pic is one of my personal favorites. We were staying in Luxor and we had a wonderful rooftop restaurant at our hotel (Nile Valley Hotel) and the sunrises and sunsets were simply spectacular. In fact; next to the people, the sunsets are among my favorite things about Egypt. Welcome and enjoy RC Figueroa!
