I really miss you guys...
It is time like this that it reconfirms to me just how much I have taken your presence here for granted... there is nothing more comforting then calling you guys just to hear your voices...or talk out our many frustrations of the day. I am glad that you are having a really good time but even more glad that I will get to see your "smooth" faces soon.
Tell Maya that Aunty and Uncle really miss her and that Ethan and Alyssa have a playroom set up to play in when she gets back...
It is even more apparent that as a casual discussion writing over the computer is fine...but if Jason and I need to argue it just doesn't hold the same appeal :) and boy am I glad that it is just for a few more days.... we will definetly need a full night of coffee,tea and a good hookah and hours of pointless conversation when you get back... it has been far too long and you just left a couple of weeks ago :)
well, I should go it is late ... we set up our first fake christmas tree this weekend and we will hopefully be decorating it tomorrow (my mother in law has to inspect the primping of the branches first...so she is coming over to help me decorate!) God you gotta love the woman (don't tell her I said that though) :)
I miss you three terribly and am starting to count the days...it is sad that i have gone to pick the phone up a few times to bug you and then realized that it would be to an empty house... I will talk to you all soon I am sure..and I will continue to check here for updates!!

I love you and I will write you a completly seperate email for you... until I find time between work and kids activities please know that I cried when I heard your voice...and I love you more then you could know :)

Jess I'm sorry when I called Randy and Dad that we didn't get a chance to call you to! It's just I knew Randy has a 99% answer rate and you have a 1% answer rate, so I had to go with the odds, sorry ;-) We miss and love you all very much as well :-)
Right now Jess, we're at the Mayfair hotel again, but it's changed since we all last stayed here in 2004. They've renovated and increased their prices around 30% (220 EGP/$55 CAD/night). Actually the inflation rate in Egypt has been quite dramatic! K and I estimate costs have risen at least 30%-40% since we were last here in 2004.
So Egypt is no longer "dirt cheap". Tonight we went to the western restaraunt "Chillis" and paid around $45 CAD for dinner and all we got was a kid's meal, burger (me of course) and some spanish dish (Kareena of course).
You can tell Alyssa that Uncle and Aunty bought her a some presents today, but Ethan is a bit harder to find presents for. We need to find something he can smash yet jumps out and grabs his attention ;-) Uncle is determined to find his favorite nephew something he'll love!
Oh ya Jess we got you 4x boxes of the tea you requested tonight! So you'll feel better soon, thanks to Egypt! Tomorrow we're going to the local zoo where we can bribe the zoo keepers to let us into the cages to hold baby monkeys, lions, tigers and bears "oh my"! Well I gotta run, ttyl, love Jas.
